Community Involvement

Despite his cutthroat playing style on the court, off the court Brandon Jennings is heavily involved in giving back to the community.  When Jennings famously went to play abroad in Rome to sharpen his skills before entering the 2009 draft, he quickly became a fan favorite both on and off the court. When an earth quake tragically struck Italy, Jennings was the first to give a generous donation of 50,000 dollars to the National Italian American Foundation’s (NIAF)/ Abruzzo Relief Fund, whose donations went to help victims and their families who perished from the earthquake in the town of L’Aquila. Everywhere Jennings plays he does his best to give back to the fans. It wasn’t long after being drafted by Milwaukee that Jennings started to lend a helping hand by visiting the Northside YMCA in Milwaukee where he helped young boys and girls learn essential basketball fundamentals. Brandon also assisted in building homes for Habitat for Humanity around the Milwaukee area. To look at pictures check out Brandon’s photo gallery.
